Raising queries or concerns with us
If you have any queries or concerns about our work for you at any time or our bill please immediately discuss them with the person dealing with the day to day conduct of your work. If that does not resolve the problem to your satisfaction or if you would prefer, please speak to the appropriate supervising partner. Alternatively, please ask to speak to the firm’s Quality & Compliance Solicitor, who is Mrs Wendy Campbell on 01380 722311. This firm has a complaints procedure, a copy of which is available on request. If you are not satisfied with our handling of your complaint you can ask the Legal Ombudsman (email@example.com) to consider the complaint. Normally you will need to bring a complaint to the Legal Ombudsman within six months of receiving a final written response from us about your complaint.
We welcome any attempt to resolve problems that clients may have with the service provided. It is important therefore that you immediately raise your concerns with us. In addition you have the right to object to the bill by applying to the court for an assessment of the bill under Part III of the Solicitors Act 1974 and if any insurance matters are dealt with (such as an indemnity policy) you have a right to complain to the Financial Ombudsman Service.
