Olivia CliffordBack to career stories
I started at Awdry Bailey & Douglas in June 2015 after seeing the apprenticeship advertised online.
Within one year of being on the apprenticeship programme I gained a level two qualification in intermediate business administration.
In addition to this, I also gained skills as a receptionist whilst training to be a legal secretary.
I had support from all members of staff who assisted me throughout the course. After completing the course I became a full time legal secretary in the private client department, where my skills have developed and I am now completing paralegal duties assisting an Associate of the firm.
I hope to develop my career even further and attend further training courses to expand my skills and knowledge in private client. In the future I hope to become a legal assistant.
Awdry Bailey and Douglas have given me the chance to work in law whilst developing my skills to go even further. The team are very friendly and helpful which makes it a positive place to work whilst giving me the opportunity and support to expand my career.
